Does anyone else have this problem? While playing skyrim my screen just goes black for 1-3 seconds and then comes back to normal, audio keeps going and game does not pause, it's the screen that just goes black. It happens about two times immediately when i start playing and after that maybe twice an hour or not at all. This started after second skyrim patch and the black screen problem also occurs on ps3 menu. I have never had this kinda problem before and was thinking that could skyrim patch somehow cause this? But if i'm the only one then the problem must be elsewhere...

Ya, I notice that when I go from a bright lit spot to a dark spot. The screen fades to black after about 3 sec, it readjusts to the low level lighting.

I don't go from a bright lit spot to a dark spot on ps3 menu, i mean the screen "dies" like someone pulls the plug off but the game just keeps going on. And this started happening after second patch... Could it just be coincidence or can broken hdmi cable be the reason...

I've had this too but worse. I just had it again tonight. The screen goes black when I go through a door and it should be showing the loading screen and it never comes back. It just stays frozen on the black screen and I have to do a hard reset again. I spend more time rebooting the PS3 and reloading this game than actually playing it.

Hmm... I dunno to be honest. What kinda TV are you using (LED or Plasma)? Does it only happen with Skyrim?

i'm using philips 42" LCD full HD, never had this problem before second patch... But it's kinda hard to believe that some game patch could cause this because it happens also on ps3 menu.
